August issue of the MmIT journal now available

The August issue of the Group journal is now available online, members can access it via the CILIP website.

This issue covers news, book and product reviews, tech-round up plus features. Features include hacking, location-based services such as Facebook Places, Second Life for learning, cloud computing, Greek vs international search engines, augmented reality, the information web vs the social web, and a case study on how Edinburgh Libraries’ integrated use of social media has helped the library service to regain its sex appeal.
