Our keynote speakers are Marie Kinsey, professor of Journalism Education at the University of Sheffield; PhD researcher and public library advocate, Lauren Smith of walkyouhome and Brian Kelly, Innovation Advocate at Cetis, a national centre based at Bolton University. Phil Bradley is our after dinner speaker.
Workshop presenters and other speakers include Antony Groves of University of Sussex on using Vines in the library, Andy Tattersall of the University of Sheffield on altmetrics and Sierra Williams of LSE on blogging.

Winner of our bursary place! MMIT Conference 2015 “Social Media & Libraries”
Eleanor Barker of the Medical Library at Cambridge University Library, School of Clinical Medicine, is the winner of our bursary place to the MMIT Conference. Eleanor sent in the 500 word piece our committee voted best on what aspect of social media or which social media tool they think will have the most impact on libraries. She will be tweeting during the conference and plans to blog after the event.
Winner of our bursary place – Internet Librarian International Conference – 20-21 October
We have two winners of our bursary place for the Internet Librarian International Conference: Greg Cadge of University Library Chelmsford and Paul Pedley of the Economist Intelligence Unit both win a day’s attendance at the event.
